IR'2001 - Infotech Oulu International Workshop on Information Retrieval

The goal of the IR'2001 workshop is to provide an international forum for presenting recent research results on information retrieval, and to bring together experts from both 'soft' and 'hard' information retrieval for a fruitful exchange of ideas and discussion on future challenges.

The program includes keynote presentations and tutorials by leading experts and contributed papers describing recent progress in information retrieval. The papers presented in the workshop will be published in the workshop proceedings, which will be offered to international publishers. Best Paper and Best Student Paper awards will be awarded for outstanding contributions.
